London Day 1

We arrived in London on time after an uneventful flight. Bill had reserved a car to meet us at the airport and take us to our hotel. The driver was there and waiting and dropped us off at The Ashburn Hotel. It is a great place. After checking in, we took a taxi to Victoria Station to get our tube passes and then took the tube in The Tower of London and Tower Bridge. We toured The Tower, saw the Crown Jewels, and walked across the Tower Bridge. It was very interesting and we enjoyed it very much. We then took the tube back to our hotel and walked across the street for dinner at Vecchiomondo. We celebrated Tom and Lisa's 39th wedding anniversary. Always fun to do with good friends. We came back to our hotel and spent about 2 hours in the bar blogging and remembering what a great day we had.
